Day 43

Classes, piano students, and practicing jazz and free improv - well, I call it "planned free" improv.

This was my third week of classes at the Lucy Moses School.  I have energetic fun students in every class.  I enjoy every type of student, unless they are hitting the other children.

I am getting my piano students into full swing.  All but one student returned so this is a great start to the year.

I sometimes entertain the thought of doing something else to "earn a living".  I always find that music works best for me.  Most of my work has been teaching, though I have been a church organist - in a small town, the music director for children's productions in community theater, and an accompanist for voice lessons and choruses.  I have the goal of finding some significant amount of performing with each of my duos - Duo Fortuna and Simply Songs - Jazz Duo.
