Last minute cancellations, etc.
I am pretty much of a softy about people being ill and cancelling a lesson - unless I am already at their place or on my way. The 24 hour thing is important in most cases, because I can rearrange a lesson - say go earlier to my last one if the person can do this.
Today one of my favorite students was ill and called an hour before the lesson. Since I was still home when they offered to pay I said it was okay not to. They still want to so I guess I should accept it - okay I will. But, I was not really THAT inconvenienced. I would have planned to go to Bikram Yoga instead had I known.
Of course there is the income issue in these situations. I will have to really set my mind on how I am with all of this. Things always crop up to consider no matter what you do!
