Day 74

Today I started the day with music and ended it with music - but the music was very different.

I taught four piano students - 3 in Manhattan and 1 in my apartment.  Two were having birthday parties later in the day and I was glad they were dedicated students and did not cancel their lessons for this reason.  As I have stated, the students are all progressing well.

I have a gig tomorrow with Charles Ramsey, my guitar partner for Duo Fortuna.  It is a the Yippee Museum Care at 9 Bleeker Street. We start playing at 8 PM and play for about an hour.

The music I ended the day with was dancing at a club in Manhattan.  My current roommate invited me with her friends to a club where we danced to music that was often from Bollywood. Since she and her friends are from Hyderbad in southern India they were so excited about the music.  They are studying at the New York Film Academy.  One is a friend of hers from home and is studying medicine.  It was quite lively to put it mildly.  I had to leave relatively early due to having to teach at the JCC in the AM.

Goodnight!  And, more on the dancing later!
