Music at Marble Church and a fun lesson taught.
The Marble Collegiate Church on Fifth Ave. and 29th St. in Manhattan has the most amazing music. Ken Dake is the choir director/organist. He is fantastic. My daughter sings in the volunteer choir, the Festival of Voices. This morning they sang in combination with the Sanctuary Choir - the professional choir. Being a musician is both a blessing and a curse because I cannot attend church and get in the spirit unless the music is really great.
I also taught one student who plays the pianos and sings at her lessons. She is all set for the recital on Dec. 13th as are many of my students. She is very musical and she enjoys performing quite a bit.
