Day 133

Two Week Break - Breaks are VERY important!

My goal is in about two years I will work nearly 100% in my own businesses.  This will be mostly teaching piano because it is the one thing that is most gratifying to me. I love my Dalcroze classes but more follow through is evident when you teach piano privately.

It is New Year's - 2010!  Well, the day after.  I had a wonderful holiday where for nearly five entire days I could not get on the internet in any workable way. This was something of a relief.

I am sort of dreading returning to so much teaching. But, only six weeks and winter break happens.  I plan to go away then, hopefully someplace warmer.  Then six more weeks and another break.

I had one student today and realized that I do enjoy teaching very much.  It brightens ones day, if done in moderation.  Sometimes I just teach too much.

Happy New Year!  Tomorrow I teach a full day at the JCC.  I am ready but I wonder if we will have enough students.  Our last class prior to the break was a day that could have been a snow day.  It was also the Sunday before Christmas and the day after the last day of Chanukah.  I presume some students were away due to the holiday break from schools that had already started.  Add in the snow and the attendance was light.

2010 has started and my resolutions all have to do with making my life more organized and clear.  I have done so much cleaning and cleanring in my apartment already.  There is more to go.

Waiting for a potential roommate to show up to view the extra bedroom in my apartment.  I am glad I had a break from a roommate, as it allowed me to clear so much because I had extra space.
